A New Study about Boswellia Extract

About once a week, I type "GAD65" into the PubMed database to see if anything new has popped up. Antibodies against GAD65, or glutamic acid decarboxylase, very frequently arise when testing for Type 1 or autoimmune diabetes. They sure did for me. The GAD enzyme has been a huge focus of my research, and I've marveled at how vital it is for your brain and body.
Just this month, an exciting study came out showing that after nine months of taking Boswellia extract, a man with Type 1 Diabetes had a 25% reduction in GAD antibodies. I bought a bottle of high quality Boswellia extract and plan to take my first capsule today. Consistency is key, so I will make sure I do not miss a dose, and I'll monitor whether my insulin sensitivity improves.
On a side note, many diabetes websites I've come across have largely focused on the latest in diabetes technology, like continuous glucose monitors and insulin pumps, which can be helpful in managing the disease. I'd like to dive deeper and get to the root of the illness, to get to the bottom of the abyss where it all started, and retrieve answers that go beyond management to potential recovery. This includes both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. In the United States alone, someone is diagnosed with diabetes every 17 seconds and every day, 230 American diabetics will have an amputation. There is light at the end of this tunnel. I want to help us get there.
